Bardo

Bardo - noun - In Tibetan Buddhism, the transitory state of existence between life and rebirth. Bardo takes place over three days after Steph's mother's death when she returns home to find a surprise visitor and wrestles with guilt over not being more present when her mother was alive. 

Thus far, Bardo is an official selection of: Toronto Shorts International, Hollywood Shortsfest, Yellowknife International Film Festival, Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival, Toronto Independent Film Festival, LA Independent Women Film Awards, Portland Film Festival, Mirada Corta Short Film Festival and Hamilton Film Festival.

Bardo won Best Narrative Short at the Art Film Spirit Awards and Best Canadian Short at Vancouver International ShortFest.
